Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, and specific experience in IT infrastructure, software development, or automation systems is a plus. Experience with managing project budgets for $5-$15MM. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project outcomes within scope, schedule, and budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, development, and implementation of IT and automation projects from initiation to completion.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track project progress against established metrics and milestones.
Coordinate project resources, including internal teams, external vendors, and consultants, to ensure effective utilization and allocation of resources.
Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and addressing potential obstacles to project success.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on project status, progress, and key performance indicators.
Implement project management best practices and methodologies, ensuring adherence to project management standards and guidelines.
Conduct post-project reviews and evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in IT and automation systems, incorporating relevant innovations into project strategies and plans.
Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and excellence, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among project team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Proven experience in project management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience managing IT or automation projects from initiation to completion.
Demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure, software development, and automation systems, with a solid understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment, with a customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering superior service and value.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, and familiarity with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
