Castle Hill Technologies has openings on our team for supporting projects for custom process control and automation systems for Clients within the RTP and eastern North Carolina areas. These exciting opportunities allow our employees to work alongside the project team, developing system architectures, designs and specifications, programs, testing, troubleshooting, and startup the DCS, PLC, SCADA/HMI, and MES systems.
Your duties as an Automaton Engineer will include (but are not limited to):
• Assess, design, configure, and commission network and computer systems for the manufacturing environment.
• Support the design of process control and automation networks based on S95, ISA S88 standard
• Ability to read and develop P&IDs and loop descriptions for various plants, processes, and/or equipment
• Support the development of User Requirement Specifications.
• Support the development of software and hardware design specifications.
• Design, program, implement, test, and document process controls for programmable logic controller (PLC) & distributed control system (DCS) configurations
• Support the development of control system validation/testing protocols.
• Assist with estimates of man-hours required to complete projects
Experience:
Knowledge of multiple control system platforms, industrial processes, or customer-specific applications, such as Allen-Bradley and DeltaV systems, and understanding of IT systems and networks.
Education:
• Undergrad degree in computer, electrical, mechanical, chemical, or other engineering disciplines
