Castle Hill Technologies is currently seeking Field Service Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting customers facing production issues, downtimes, and various automation troubleshooting scenarios. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to implement new project-based solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you can expect to engage in daily travel to customer locations, including the possibility of overnight stays.
- Perform field service tasks such as repair, installation, and maintenance 
- Perform troubleshooting and emergency services at client sites 
- Diagnose machinery problems and determine if it is mechanical or electrical 
- Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise 
- Oversee repairs and technical improvements 
- Review reports and documentation from customers, and inspects malfunctioning product to determine nature and scope of problems 
- Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs 
- Work with networking components, including but not limited to Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet 
- Troubleshoot, program and install PLCs, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley and Siemens processors 
- Troubleshoot, Program and install VFD’s including but not limited to PowerFlex, Schneider, ABB, and other 
- Troubleshoot and repair HMI or SCADA screens and applications 
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, test, repair, and improve sensing, measurements, and actuation devices
