Field Services Engineer (New Opening)

Castle Hill Technologies is currently seeking Field Service Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting customers facing production issues, downtimes, and various automation troubleshooting scenarios. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to implement new project-based solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you can expect to engage in daily travel to customer locations, including the possibility of overnight stays.

  • Perform field service tasks such as repair, installation, and maintenance 

  • Perform troubleshooting and emergency services at client sites 

  • Diagnose machinery problems and determine if it is mechanical or electrical 

  • Resolve malfunctions or other crises when they arise 

  • Oversee repairs and technical improvements  

  • Review reports and documentation from customers, and inspects malfunctioning product to determine nature and scope of problems 

  • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs  

  • Work with networking components, including but not limited to Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, and DeviceNet 

  • Troubleshoot, program and install PLCs, including but not limited to Allen-Bradley and Siemens processors 

  • Troubleshoot, Program and install VFD’s including but not limited to PowerFlex, Schneider, ABB, and other 

  • Troubleshoot and repair HMI or SCADA screens and applications 

  • Troubleshoot, calibrate, test, repair, and improve sensing, measurements, and actuation devices
